He already bought the engine and is adamant about not putting a triton back in

Signal is too ****ty to see the pic,but a guy on the fb group said he pulled his 5.4 with 80k out and took it to a scrap yard so he could put a hemi from a 2008 challenger in

Don't you love it when you get a package and have no earthly idea what it is that you ordered? Um, yeah, sucks getting old. LOL.

Turned out to be the timing chains I picked up off ebay for $23. I replaced all the guides during the rebuild & soaked the tensioners in diesel for a few weeks during the rebuild, so they're fine. The only things questionable are the chains. Thanks [MENTION=92839]MyFX4Project[/MENTION] for the sweet deal on the cover gaskets & front seal. Will have $40 in a timing set [MENTION=64669]jferg92[/MENTION].

I'm a young buck and I do that.. I shake it around and see if I can guess lol. I still need timing chains,gonna see if mine are good on the old heads.
