That's already basically what I was planning to do anyways. I already have an Edelbrock performer intake and carb, my 650 may have to do just for the time being until I save up some more money to carb up. It'll just have to come down to how much it will cost me to build the 429 and how much more it'll cost to do the 501. If it's only a couple hundred dollars more, I'm most definitely going to bump up to the stroker.

650 may do fine for ya. 750 if you stroke it. Moving more air. Don't be like some of the knuckleheads I know and throw a 1100 Dominator on it. Way too much carb. Actually loose power & performance.

Oh I know better than that. The 650 on my current setup is too much. If I whale on it from a dead stop it'll fall on it's face.

All the 460s around here have big tires,stock motors and 750 carbs.
Never made sense,but their money lol
