My flashlight rides perfectly in the little bin at the bottom of the door. Easy to snag at any time and don't have to climb into the truck to get it either.

I have thought of mounting mine but I think I have found a better solution. S&W M&P 40cal.

You expecting to get into a gunfight at 65 MPH?

No, I'm expecting to drive comfortably without a gun digging into my side. I carry a HK P30L at 4 o'clock position. The way Ford seats hug the sides it can be uncomfortable if I have to drive more than 30 minutes.

Long drives can include a few or many stops through a town or city. Is he suppose to reholster on his person every time he hits a stop sign?

If you store your weapon unsecured in the console, it's only a matter of time before you think "reholstering is a pain in the ***, I'll just leave it there". Just hope that one of those times doesn't coincide with the time you either a. need your weapon or b. suffer a burglary.

Reholstering is never a pain.

This thread is full of ridiculous and salty fudds.

Might need a better holster, or adjust it to a better position and angle. It need not be uncomfortable even for a 14 hour drive (been there, done that, several times)

Then again you're carrying an extended length full size lol

Holster is fine for 95% of what I do, including sitting in an office chair. As I said, the way the F-150 hugs is uncomfortable for more than 30 minutes with any gun at 4 o'clock.

I'm 6'6" and 220lbs. It's why I can carry a full size gun no problem most of the time and I would not change that gun for the world.

I mounted a magnet. Works great. Doesn't take up much room. Just slip the pistol in and its attached.

Craig

Magnet attached to inside of console.

Pistol on magnet with all the other junk.
