A single aspect yes. I chose to not live in an urban setting to begin with so it's a non issue for me.

Good idea on the gun related stickers, my NRA sticker will remain however.
To be fair, urban or suburban, it doesn't matter. The A-Holes are getting desperate. The guy this happened to actually lives out in the sticks. They're starting to figure out that it's easier to get away with crime in the sticks because it takes a MUCH longer time for a police response due to the distance they need to travel to your house. A good security alarm system and cameras are wonderful tools though, especially when paired with motion sensor lighting.

I also learned a new term for a recent crime trend "Gun Jugging". The A-Holes are getting so desperate that they are actually camping out at gun ranges, watching what people take in and out with them, pick a target, follow them home or to a secondary location and then steal the guns if they're left in the vehicle unattended.

Gun Jugging on The Rise

Pay attention to your surroundings and really be careful about leaving anything in your vehicle.

Rural does, though. My gun range is my yard. Same for my neighbors - I can hear gunfire nearly every day, and Tannerite on the weekends. There's virtually no crime around here - no home invasions, no carjacking, no riots, no street takeovers, hardly any theft, and no "gun-free zone" signs. It's legal to carry in banks, grocery stores, bars, churches, most restaurants, any public road or parking lot, your own vehicle or property without a permit... I can even hunt my property without a hunting license. There's LESS crime where there are MORE guns legally visible & in-use.

We've got almost the same thing here, except for a handful of restrictions that do make a little sense, schools, banks, bars and such.
I feel pretty safe here. Most everyone I've talked with agrees, if the idiots come up here, chances are very good they'd be leaving in fewer numbers.

Those restrictions don't make sense, either. Just sayin'

Law abiding gun owners aren't the issue. The issue is not holding those that don't abide FULLY accountable for their actions.

Just think if all the law-abiding gun owners decided to protest in every major city around the country with open carry on one day. Liberal heads would explode and Congress would be back in session trying to do something about it. Unlike their response to the rioting and looting going on right now.
