How many people really need a hand gun or should have a hand gun. I rarely ever hear of someone needing a gun and using it properly when something happens. Usually its just the opposite.

Anyhow rant over. Good luck!

Any automatic is subject to limp wrist jamming. If you want to avoid this possibility, carry a revolver.
1.) we were talking about safety
2.) True, but not for me. Have never had a jam with my Sig 40, like I did with my 1911. Again, we were talking safety of the firearm.

Thanks

Re-read post #42. I was talking about a physical safety on a 1911....not handgun safety. You said “lack of a serious safety”.

Safety is safety to me, there should never be different safety!

Handgun safety is a frame of mind. A physical safety is something that must be manually manipulated to fire a weapon. They are not the same thing.

Alien Gear has the ShapeShift system that includes a mount that accepts the holster.

I carry a gun because a cop is too heavy may sound like a cliche' but it's more than just the truth. It's physics.

I'll help you do your job by allowing you to protect more of the public while I protect my family.

I used the form factor as an example of some of the most ridiculous idea's or should I say horror movie renditions of ultimate carnage possible in an automobile accident with a magnet mounted pistol portrayed in this thread by the over active imaginations of some very weak minds.
