My last update was 2.8.3 so makes sense. Thanks Rugedraw.

It was answered before, but for the two "priority updates" that people are seeing without a version number associated with them:

PU0727 - GWM update, will extend BlueCruise map expiration date
PU0707 - APIM update, no idea what it updates or fixes, but you get a new Sync version

I received PU0727 this morning, but I have an XLT, so BlueCruise is not applicable to my vehicle.

Rugedraw/Livinitup, my truck is in the shop now and has been since Monday. From what I can tell, they haven’t touched it till I called this afternoon. I have a door alert set so if they opened it it would tell me. That was at 3:06pm. Can you guys tell me what they have done if anything? They said they could figure out what was wrong and they are still looking into it. That sounds like a cop out since it hasn’t moved since Monday. VIN: 1FTFW1E82MFB07129

Thanks!

Well, the good news is, you had Priority Update 22-PU0707-SCH-POPB install on your truck via OTA a few hours ago. About 20 minutes before the update installed, someone connected the truck to FDRS because there was a network test done which is probably what prompted the OTA trigger. It doesn't look like they spent too much time on it, but they did touch it.

New owner here, how do you tell what version you are at? I set my truck up to be on my home wifi network but have no idea on how to tell what revision I'm at.

Thanks

You can check what version of Sync you have on the touchscreen, but the software version is not possible to check. Unless you just got an over the air update and it tells you what you got, you don't know. Also, wifi is not necessary to get the updates. If you provide me with your VIN, I can check to see if you've gotten any updates or have any pending.

The system only holds data for 60 days. You have not gotten any updates in the past 60 days. However, you have a 2022, so you truck was already built with the software most of us on this thread have been having issues getting. In your case, you don't have anything to worry about. Any updates you get are gravy where they are adding little things here and there. In the case of early 2021 owners, we paid for features we were supposed to get via updates and many aren't getting them.
