I do have 2.8.3 and have been dealing with other issues until I fixed the change in the ipma I made dealing with the brake assist in reverse forscan hack.. BC is working now and everything is fine.. VIN is 1FTFW1ED2MFC01170.

And I believe the games they are referring to are in the Mach E and Lightning, Sync 4a.. Friend of mine with the Mach E has games on his center stack

 

Yea, your OTA dashboard shows you got 2.8.3 on 6/28 and a no-revision software update yesterday. However, your update was for the APIM; not the GWM like the others have posted. I really have no idea what these updates are, but you're getting them which is a good thing. It seems like there are more un-numbered updates out there than what the wiki is listing.

Unless, the wiki is inaccurate, it does show the F150 is supposed to get games, too. In both past and future updates.

cool, thanks.. As for games, unless I am missing something, I thought they were only for 4a, which is what Mach and Lightning have, not us, at least not me. I have the 12 inch horizontal screen...

 

You could be right and it sounds like you are. I'm relying on the accuracy of the wiki page which we all know can very easily have incorrect info on it.

 

I just noticed one was from this morning when I went out to check the system for updated features. I started it but the ICE never had to turn on during the 1-2 minutes of menu hopping. It has never thrown a check engine light…

I have had zero issues with anything related to temp. Just the OTA issues so many of us have experienced.

Only certain DTC's will trigger a check engine light to come on. If we got a check engine light every time we got a DTC, every one would have set their cars/trucks on fire by now. lol

You had one of the no-revision number updates install on your truck on 9/1. Yours was also for the gateway module. No other update is pending at this time. However, if you got this update, I am assuming you already have BlueCruise and have gotten past the troublesome updates.

 

Yep, Bluecruise is working fine. I just got the notification about the one that installed on 9/1 but there was no explanation of what it does so was curious.

So what version am I running? I don't think I have ever successfully receiver an Ota update and at this point the 2 local dealerships seem content not being able to fix it. I spoke to Ford.com all they could offer was a extended warranty lol. Try say it will fix itself with future update whenever it rolls out to my truck but I guess no one is understanding it is unable to receive anything.

 

What is this update for??? Got it on the 2nd I’ve had the 2.8.3 for a while now that enabled the cameras while moving which are great
