Wait until they cannot get the new software to upload to the jacked up units and they either go silent or there is a mad rush to the dealer for whatever the fix is.
like i said, i tried to do a check for update and mine got stuck in a loop and after an hour i just shut the truck down.
2019 F-150 STX and it’s doing the same. I thought it might be battery related as I know mine is getting sluggish on auto starts but it seems it’s more than that as new batteries don’t always fix the issue. Hopefully something will be figured out soon.
Hey everyone. I have a 2019 Lariat and recently started having an issue with my Sync 3 system. Each time I get in my truck it asks me to confirm features, a separate screen about automatic updates and another screen about sync checking available networks. In addition to these, it does not keep my settings where i turn off the touch screen beep, I have to reset the number of preset pages for radio presets each time and the display mode and color setting does not save. Has anyone experienced this issue? I have checked the fuse, have a new battery and after 3 weeks at the dealer, they said it was fine. It’s not. Attaching screenshots of the displays mentioned above. Thanks in advance
Im having the exact same problem. No solution found yet.
i just confirmed with my uncle that 23088 is the newest update out.
might need to get it loaded to a usb and try putting it in.
I had downloaded the 23088 on to USB last week and tried to install. It kept looping and would not complete (I'm thinking maybe this is what happened with the original OTA update). It would install to the point it would say to power cycle the key at the next convenience and it would finish the install. After a power cycle it just started the install over again and said the same thing. After a few attempts it said that it could not recognize the USB device. My computer won't even format the USB drive anymore, so not sure what the truck did to it. I'm starting to think that the only short term hope might be what 18LeadLariat referenced in post #12. I just haven't had the time to do the homework on that process. I'm able to live with most of the issues for short term. However, my backup camera is just a blue screen and that is driving me crazy. Amazing how dependent a person becomes on that (especially hooking up trailers!).
I feel like I saw this one right before everything started going crazy. I wonder if that was something that was supposed to be in the update that failed
Today I spoke to ford Canada and they claim there is no issue at all with the current update. They said it has to be a hardware issue. I told them there are countless people on this forum with the same issues that all started around the same time. I was then told to not believe everything I see on the internet. Way to have our backs ford.
