If so inclined, submit your complaint regarding this issue to Ford via chat at https://www.ford.com/help/contact/. I'm using Ford's own Technical Service Bulletin #TSB 22-2254 dated June 2022 as reference to the nature of the problems and as an example the conditions were known by Ford long before the warranty expired. Perhaps if enough voices are heard, an authorized Ford solution will surface.

I was thinking that might be the case, but as I purchased in May of 2020 and don't have any extended warranty, I think I'm outside of the 3yr/36k warranty term.

Does anyone know or have tried this TSB 22-2254 and did it fix your problem!! Im having the same crap on my 2019--

The listed fix on the current tsb does nothing to fix any of the issues. At least for my my20. They will try it as well as multiple resets but currently the dealer has no fix but to replace the apim. It sounds like a fix is in the works. Just no clue on when. One time they made it sound like a new ota update for sync by this summer and another told me hopefully by the fall. Mine got so bad it was blue screening multiple times a day. Jailbreak and rw data cleaner seems to be the easiest option thus far. If not that an apim replacement if it’s covered or u want to shell out 500-1000 bucks. Otherwise who knows how long ford might take to come out with a non hardware fix for the issue. Might be next week or might be waiting until the end of the year at least.

Nice effort! And you even got "Ford" to confirm they created the problem with their current update!

When I called the 800-number in May, it was pretty much the same conversation in the chat above. The more VINs they have logging the issue, the more incidents stack up in their Engineer's queue. I recommend if you have the issue, contact Ford via phone or chat and get your VIN added to the list.

I have days where Sync behaves perfectly with no pop-ups. There are days I get 2 pop-ups. There are days I get 4 pop-ups.

Discovered I have this issue after banging my head against a wall for three weeks. I called Ford today and got added to their list. After 20 minutes I got to someone who knew about the issue and they acknowledged Ford needs to do an OTA update. No ETA.

Question since I didn't see this in comments above. Is anyone else experiencing the taillights and running lights on mirrors staying on after turning off and locking the vehicle? I also noticed the Display is not turning into off and remains on whatever you had up before. My headlights were set to auto. When I unlock and open the door, I hear a faster beeping sound that isn't familiar. I left my truck for about an hour and went to the gym, this could have been overnight and drained my battery.

Setting head lights to off seems to resolve the issue. I have left my headlights on auto since I bought it so I think the Sync system is not letting the truck turn off.

And another "Ford " acknowledgement of the problem. I wonder what level of priority has been placed on this issue by Ford? If anyone from Ford is monitoring this forum thread, feel free to jump in!
