Sync 3 Memory Issue
Count me in on this upgrade fiasco. Was sitting in the driveway several weeks ago with the truck running waiting for someone to arrive. Truck was connected to the house wifi and executed the update Not successfully, apparently. Same symptoms as everyone here. Truck starts with radio set to a channel of static, no history being remembered in GPS, voice recognition doesn't work correctly, settings screen for updates and sending data to Ford pops up on just about every start, etc.
Unfortunately, I'm model year 2020 and in reading through this thread it's looking like clearing out the log folder is something I can't do. Am I missing something here or is that a correct understanding? Can MY20 trucks recover from this crap upgrade?

A recall would generally be for a safety issue; I don't think having the radio acting up is a safety issue. Ford will likely release a TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) if/when they acknowledge the issue and have a fix.
