My 2018 2.7 has a plastic oil pan. If yours is leaking, try replacing the oil plug. They are cheap and it's a good idea to keep several on hand. I keep one in my glove box - cuz ya never know... and a couple in my workshop for when I change oil in case it breaks. Ford actually recommends a brand new plug with each oil change, however I never replaced the one on my '15 and it never leaked a drop after 45,000 miles and 3 years of 6K oil change intervals.

My 2017 2.7L ecoboost has the plastic pan and I love it. not one leak yet. knock on paper (no wood around)
I did buy a new drain plug - to have one on hand if needed. but I'm still using the OE one 5 oil changes later, and about to do number 6
Meanwhile The plastic pan is a great idea despite complaints. One thing to know is the plastic pan isn't a structural member of the engine block - like some deep cast AL pans are. Meaning it's not pre-stressed.
They have made updates to the seals and I believe the newest ones use an incorporated removable seal and no longer use sealant.
If this is a picture of your oil pan leak, change the o-ring on your drain plug and you'll be good to go.

I did replace the original yellow, plastic oil plug after this picture and it did help some. Have since installed the Ronin quick drain and it still leaks but very little and quess that will not change as the Ronin drain plug never has to be disturbed. I like the Ronin system as it makes draining very easy and CLEAN.
