The Leveling Kit Thread
Well never while it's stock, but I'm concerned about what I'll get after I reduce the down travel. I think the shock is supposed to top out before anything hits. Do leveled struts & coilovers do that?
Having had a lifted '92 Chevy, I had upper control arm contact all the time just driving on the street, and other than ball joint spacers, there were no better solutions at the time. That was my last & only modified truck. I'm probably a little more concerned than average about getting this setup right.

put eibach leveling struts on all 4 corners using the highest setting (2.1 inches) and same tire size you did. But it is a much heavier tire ( wildpeak) than stock.
Only have had them for a day and honestly haven’t done too much driving yet. Mine are 48lbs each compared to stock 275/55/20 which were 38lbs…so not too much added rotational mass for a beefy tire.
I lost 1.5-2 mpg when I went to a 33” (275/70R18) Wildpeak in place of the stock tire.
I'm installing my bilsteins, got the old strut out and compressed, went to take the top nut off and it was rusted pretty well in place. Tried to hold the strut shaft with the 8mm nut on the top and it snapped off. now I'm at a loss as to how to get the strut assembly apart. Don't want to take heat to it because of the rubber spring keeper. FML. Anyone have ideas?
