I have been stalking this site for months trying to figure out the exact setup for my new to me 2018 F150. Thanks to all of the information on here, I was able to narrow down my focus and ended up with exactly what I wanted - 2.25" ReadyLift level with 285/65R20 Nitto Ridge Grappler's on stock sport rims. I did not have to do any trimming or spreading of the crash bars and I do not have any rubbing in any direction.

Before level and tires

Hello Joe,
Would you mind parking under your garage door and putting a tape measure to the gap? And also measure your garage door opening? My door is 7' and my truck is bone stock for suspension, wheels and tires and I don't think I have 6" of clearance.

Thanks!

Just installed RC 2" leveling kit, still have 1/2" rake.

Before

Right After Install:

After it settled:

It don't look it but it was almost the same height front and back, but after I jacked the rear up to install wheel spacers the weight on the front must of settled the level to where it's now half inch rake.

Did you actually measure to get the figures or are you assuming the 2 inch kit did actually lift the front by exactly 2 inches?

I measured right after the front level kit install, and then after (on a hunch) I installed the rear wheel spacers.

I am sure this information is in this long thread, but am looking for some input concerning 2in Level for my 2017 Lariat Sport FX4.....I talked with one local Rough Country dealer and this is what he is trying to get me into.....

2IN FORD FRONT LEVELING STRUT KIT (14-21 F-150 4WD)

Does anyone on here have any experience with this setup.....This is the my first time leveling a truck and I would like to do it properly, not spending a ton of money but also not going cheap. I am planning on running Toyo Open Country AT3 275/60/20's on the truck. Thanks for the help and if this has been addressed please send me in the right direction....cheers

I looked at every single option and for me it narrowed down to Bilsten 5100's (adjustable up to 2.1" level/lift) or the Rancho Quicklift, which are a COMPLETE strut/spring assembly and much less installation work is involved. Also the Ranchos have adjustable ride. Honestly, not sure I made the right choice w/ Bilstein as I kinda liked the Ranchos, but both choices are great. Don't do the "puck" lift.

EDIT: Oh, I see you're talking about the Rough Country complete strut units. Yes, those would compare w/ the Rancho Quicklift. Between the two, I'd choose Rancho, but I think RC is good, too.

Default 2021 leveling kit

Just got my 2 inch Rough Country leveling kit installed. Feel like it needs to be a half inch higher.

Hey guys don't really want to search through 3k+ posts. Does anyone have any pictures of a leveled F150 on stock tires with 20 inch wheels? 275/55-20s?
