2.5" spacers on the front, 2" on the back which makes the stance equal. Not sure what year they did it, but the stance on the front is one inch narrower coming from stock.

I decided I liked a little rake better and hauling or carrying any load would require some rake to not look stupid high in the front. Yesterday I took out the longer rear shackles. Since a garage had loosened the bolts before, I was able to do it myself without an impact wrench. Now, I am happy. Next mod will be some bigger tires. Maybe some Faulken Wild Peak A/Ts or Toyo Open Countrys. I like the stock 20s though.
How did the truck handle the HTX with the front spacers? If I had a place to stack snow in my driveway I'd also have one.

Problem solved. The plow responded like that was the set-up it was made for The plow was at a good angle even over high spots and low. Never bottomed out going down the road. No more scraping the front valance when parking at curbs. The original rake looked aggressively cool but wasn't functional for 4X4 or rough country.

Thats awesome. Ford and Boss has always been a winning combo. I don't know how many hundreds of hours of time I've spent plowing with a Super Duty and a Boss V-Plow over the years. Do you have any drag from the trailing cutting edge corner when the plow is raised in Vee and transitioning slopes?

A 2.5” leveling kit should get you close to level. I have a 2” leveling kit on my 2015 F-150 EB and have 3/4” rake with a tonneau cover on the bed. I prefer a slight rake as opposed to level though so that the truck remains level with a partial load in the bed, or with adult passengers in the back seat.

I had them on my last truck- I will say, performance was great, road nice, wore well, just a bit noisier than I wanted, but all depends if that bother you or not.

No problem there. Before I had to carry the plow with the blade straight.

So anyone that has installed the hockey puck style spacers. When I watch YouTube videos , some of the installers use a vacuum pump to release pressure from the front hub and some people don’t. So my question is why some hubs and not others? And yes I’ve been watching 2015 thru 2018 year trucks.

You don't need one. I installed 2 different sets on my truck.

Icon Stage 1 kit, raptor wheels and new 315/70/17 BFG KO2s. Added 3.5 inches to the fender height up front and has 3/4 inch of rake. Very happy with this kit.
