My guess is also it might be hard to tell since I would imagine that you most likely installed larger tires at the time which most likely dropped the MPG...But if there is someone that just raised the front and that was all I'd be interested in knowing.
Thanks
No real difference here. Had a 1.5" front level in my last 2014 and my current 2019. Stock size tires on both trucks. The 2014 was maybe 1/2-1 mpg loss. Haven't noticed any difference on my 2019 yet

As many of you may know the new Toyo Open Country AT IIIs are out and BFG just released new KO2 sizes. Looking once I decide on the level (suggestions appreciated) going with either 295/60 or 295/65 in KO2s or Open Country AT IIIs. Would not like to trim anything or bend the crash bars and definitely no rubbing. I am sticking with OEM Platinum wheels and would like to steer away from spacers. Don’t want to crowd the wheel well and make it look stuffed in there but also don’t want the tires to look small. Looking for good proportions. Suggestions for bed covers or advice for other mods welcomed. Please post pics if you can for reference. Thanks for the help.
I have a 16, but went 5100s all around with the 2.1" setting. Ride is definitely better IMO. I don't do a ton of off roading, but have had zero complaints so far. Went with 275/65/r20 Ridge Grapplers on the stock rims. No rubbing. This is from the day I had them installed.

Question for anyone who has installed a Motofab leveling kit: Has anyone installed the spacer on the strut and then threaded in the allen bolts from the top of the coil bucket rather than installing the studs into the spacers and installing the normal way? The shop I had do the install did this and it looks all kinds of wrong. Looks like there is a gap between the strut and spacer and even looks like the bolt heads might not even be touching the coil bucket because they're too long to be installed this way. I've already taken it to the installing shop, and after explaining the way they should be installed, the manager agreed to reinstall them the correct way, but I'm worried the kit might be ruined now. If they torqued the spacer down onto the strut and then threaded these allen bolts in until there was a gap between the spacer and strut, something must have broken right? He says he thinks it's fine as is but will redo it if I'm not happy with it.

You're likely alright, but geez, what kind of idiot did that. The instructions are plain as day how to do it. At least they're gonna make it right. Did they happen to remove the spindle nut? If they did, after a job like that, I'd be concerned if the dimbulb didn't ruin both of your IWEs. Hope not, but something you likely should watch out for. Did they actually charge you for that? I'd be out of control pissed.

If everything sat flush, I likely wouldn't worry about it, but since he said they torqued the spacer onto the strut then threw it back in and ran the allen bolts down into it, it concerns me that there's a gap between the spacer and top hat of the strut. Worried that the top hat is all mangled now. The ironic thing is that I was actually going to thread in the allen studs to avoid any confusion, but thought it would be better to leave the packaging all sealed up to avoid anything getting lost, and figured I was worrying for nothing since this shop is well known in our area for leveling kits, wheels, and tires. Turns out, they had never seen a leveling kit that didn't have the studs pre-installed. Not sure how they went about the install, but I did click it into 4wd pretty quickly after leaving the shop to listen for any grinding and luckily didn't hear anything. I keep looking at the pics and don't feel comfortable leaving it as is. Going to drop it off in the morning for them to correct. Just hoping that I don't get a call halfway through the day with any bad news.

edit: I was a little upset at first, because when I showed up and showed him my concerns he got defensive and told me that's the only possible way to install them. I printed the instructions and brought them with me and he kept reiterating that my kit didn't have studs in the spacer and even went and got a kit that he stocks there to show me what he meant. Once I pulled up Motofab's install video and showed him how they thread the bolts in from the bottom (that become the studs), he finally understood what I was getting at and told me he would make it right and apologized for the mix up. I like the MotoFab kit. I like that it's billet and like that it's one piece. I hope he doesn't call me tomorrow and tell me he'll replace it with one of his kits because he stocks the welded steel type.

You've gotta be hearing some rattling from that, geez, it pisses me off, and it isn't even my truck. I won't say all spacers come with the studs installed, but I've never seen one that did. Hope it all turns out well for you, let us know what the outcome is, if you will.

Surprisingly, no noise at all. The only reason I noticed was that I just happened to peek into the wheelwell this morning and saw the bolt heads on top of the strut tower instead of the nuts on studs like I expected. I'll report back with how it comes back together (if it does) or what had to be replaced.

@Turning Blue I’ve had the suspension on for a little over 2k miles and no issues or complaints. Overall I’m really happy with how the setup turned out and I’d recommend it. I keep the tires at 36psi front and 34 rear and I like the way it rides.
