Lots of good stuff in here, but I am curious(and maybe I over looked it) but any pics of CV shaft angles and such?

While I do want to get a level kit eventually, and know they add more wear, I just want to be sure I won't be throwing CV axles or other constant related failures every 30k.

More I know getting into it the better.

Who are you talking to?
Height of lift depends on angles of the half shafts.

Just about anyone, really.

I'm looking around the 1.5 or 2" level kits.

From what I understand, 2" up front isn't an issue for half shafts.

I'm still researching myself and watching out for same items you're concerned with.

What is up with the seemingly different rakes angles front to back on some trucks? I have seen pics of new XLT's that look like the front is much lower and some Lariat pics look like they are mostly level already.

Are Billstein adjustable shocks on an XLT at the highest or 1.75 settings level a truck or does the rear end need dropping by removing or replacing spacers?

Mine looked a lot like yours, except I used 2" spacers. I ended up removing the stock blocks and then adding 3" Rough Country blocks. I'm much happier with the result.

Do you have a bunch of weight in the bed? Or, is it just the weight of the cap making it sag a bit? I know these things are sensitive to weight in the back. Just curious as I have mine set at the highest setting and still have 3/4" of rake. I'm considering a block for when I tow, and also considering adding Timbren bump stops.
