@brentr your truck looks great! Thanks for sharing this. I've been contemplating what to do with tires as I plan on using my OEM rims as well. My Bilstein 5100's should be getting installed next week, then tires soon to follow, so I appreciate your post. Your tire size seems to work really well with that level. I am however going to swap my OEM rims for some OEM black rims. There's a shop out here by me in SE Michigan that has OEM equipment wheels in black that offers a swap. I just need to cover the costs of removal and re-installation.

I noted you're planning on air bags, presumably for sag purposes when towing. I'm planning on adding some Timberns to my truck after the Bilstiens are installed. I'm also not planning on using a rear block. I'm hoping to retain approximately 1" of rake as well with the thinking that the Timbren bumb stop & springs will keep me from stargazing when I'm towing, which I don't do a ton of to begin with. Currently I'm sitting with approximately 3" of rake from the factory.

Thanks! I just pulled some tape measure pics, and I originally started with 3 1/4” of rake (passenger side). Sounds like a good deal with the wheel swap. Stock wheels eliminate a lot of issues people run into, these actually look good, and this tire size is a perfect fit for the 8.5” wheel. It’s a really good setup.

I’m still considering Timbrens, and other options, over the airbags. Plenty of research in my future. Top priority is a good WDH.

Just used my Fordpass reward points to offset the cost. Went with Rough Country 2" spacers. Have not measured yet but looks almost level.

I agree with your sentiment on the wheels. I'm hopeful that the outcome of mine will be pretty cool.

WDH? What are you towing? I'm not planning on WDH. The maximum load I pull is about 7,500#. I had no issues in my 2018 and it didn't have the max tow package like my 2019 does.

Finally installed my Fox Stage 1 kit this weekend, really happy with how it turned out. Have 1/2" of rake now, just need to decide on what tires to go with. Going to keep the stock wheels and bump up to at least a 275/70/18. Leaning toward Wildpeak AT3's or Duratracs...but I can't make up my mind.

I’ve heard good things about both. I personally like the look of the AT3 over the Duratracs.

I've had Wildpeaks in that size for a couple months now and have been very pleased.

I've had Wildpeaks on my F250 and Jeep for years. I am very satisfied with them and Walmart sells them inexpensively.
