as far as I know, the installer did not change the leafs. As to why I went with the RAS kit- the install place recommended it when I told him my concerns about being nose high when I pull a heavier trailer. It rides a little stiffer in the rear and feels more stable. I like it.

No rubbing or trimming with 285/70/r18 Ridge Grappler on 18x9 +12 offset.

I will be looking to level my 2018 SCrew 4x4 in the next couple months and am stuck between going with Fox 2.0 and Bilstein 5100/6112. Do a fair bit of off-highway driving for hunting and snowmobiling so the suspension will see more than street use and a lot of winter driving conditions. Plan was originally to go with the Bilstein 5100 setup but my local shop has had issues with leaking in the past for trucks seeing more than pavement miles and they cannot be rebuilt. Fox 2.0 was their recommendation and that seemed to be the historical recommendation on here but there seems to have been a shift towards Bilstein recently. One additional upside of the fox they mentioned is they can be rebuilt and I plan to have the truck for many years so rebuild vs replace is appealing.

What are the current thoughts on the best kits for leveling? Any other alternatives I should look at?

If I had the cash I would go with the Fox option. If I ever decide to lift my truck it will be a 4" BDS / Fox lift.

I've enjoyed the 6112's. I would consider them heavier duty than the 5100's. Extremely stable and comfortable ride.

BILSTEIN 6112
Shock Body Size: 2.65"
Piston Size: 60mm

BILSTEIN 5100
Shock Body Size: 1.95"
Piston Size: 46mm

Here's a good comparison article:
"The extra size on the 6112 allows for better response on aggressive terrain, or under increased loads from equipment on the vehicle.
Significantly more shock oil to maintain lower temperatures within the shock, but the thicker active piston maintains consistent response under hard hits and other obstacles offroad."

3” spacer up front nothing in the rear. Had to do a little “custom” work on the crash bars, but other than that, no trimming, etc.

I need to read this whole thread. I can't decide if my RWD will need a rear block if I do a Rough Country 2" spacer.
