Ok...I've got the console and have never been in a 15+ that doesn't, so that would make since.

Default Productive Screen Show Gear

When you have a column shifter just press the shifter bottom to go to sport or tow
Then press out the screen will show which gear the transmission is in.even if your not in sport or tow

Just push the bottom on the gear shifter sport or tow it will show which forward gear the transmission is in
Press the bottom again and it will still show.

I've done the mod and it works great. It's not hard technically, but is a real physically contorting yourself under there and working with wires that are VERY small. I could not get my Ford pin removal toll to work. I just cut the wire, taped off and jumpered.

The biggest downside is forgetting to turn them off after you use them.

I'm still in pain from doing this mod.. Not sure if I broke a rib leaning on the door sill or what happened,, bad part is the pain is getting worst... I have a history of doing dumb things that hurt afterwards..

Be careful!!

To anyone that doesn't like how the Cruise Control will downshift the transmission going down steep grades, shift to M and cruise no longer shifts the transmission.

I just noticed this today, and it's probably only on trucks with the center console, that there is a piece of felt material wrapped around the female end of the seat belt (the part that is next to the console). It keeps the seat belt from rubbing against the plastic side of the console and scratching it all up. Nice little touch of you ask me.
