Hints, Tips and Tricks
The truck knows the proximity of the key FOB. If it is inside the vehicle, either locked inside with the truck off or locked inside with the truck on, the door will not unlock by just pulling the outside handle. Someone would either need to enter the code in the keypad or have another fob outside the truck.
Would think that was the case
The doors will not unlock unless someone has a key fob outside near the door. Same for the tailgate if the truck is locked. I leave my keys in the truck and lock it with the keypad on the door. It doesn't unlock by me touching the door handle. I have to enter the code.
It's pretty disappointing you can't get the map screen on the instrument panel.
I'm not sure what purpose it serves showing the compass (when you're not using Nav). Sometimes I don't want to use Nav but would still like to learn the city and seeing a map without having to look at the 8" screen would have been nice.

I just discovered yesterday that on the nav screen (KR) if you touch the checkered flag, the one that tells you how many hours you have left on the drive, it will show you the actual time of arrival to your destination and is corrected for time change.

I discovered today how easy it is to add/install the Vehicle Security System - Ford Perimeter Plus Part No. FS7Z-19A361-A, to our trucks. Cost was $176 at Tasca. https://www.f150forum.com/f118/vehic...cation-303794/
