With the console shifter is there a way to turn the indicator on to show which gear your in? on the left of the shifter

on my 2013 f150 there was an orange/red indicator beside the shifter showing what position it was in, my 2016 does not, is there a setting or ?

Thanks!

No it does not do it.

The letters/numbers are backlit but there is nothing there to indicated what gear is selected.

Instead, the selected gear shows at the bottom of the instrument display.

I can usually reverse into a space in 1 maneuver so long as I pull forward the extra distance first.

I have cameras/sensors on my 2015 Lariat and I find it easier to park than my previous truck.

The gear display on the dash that shows what gear you are in can disappear if you hit the up arrow on your shifter ****. To bring it back just hit the up arrow on the shifter **** again and it will display again.

Click the toggle on the left side of the gear shift up once and the gear position will show (if you have a console truck).

Thanks for the tip, I'm just used to checking it, it's a surprisingly hard habit to break

Here's something that is probably in the manual but if you have a 2.7L EB if you have the steering my wheel turned too much the start/stop feature will disable itself. I thought my wheels were straight tonight at a drive through and I was wondering why it wasn't turning itself off. So I went into the production screen where it tells the engine status and it said the steering angle was too great or something like that so I went into the off road status screen and they were turned to the right 20 degrees. Turned the wheel back to about 5 degrees and it turned the engine off. I guess that's because it kills the power steering with the engine off it doesn't want you to try to accelerate after the engine is off when you can't turn the wheel.

So if you're looking for a tonneau maybe look at one for the older model year as they are probably the same just less money.
Hmmm I was going to sell my Bakflip F1 from my 2013 as Bakflip said it wouldn't work on my 2015. So it does?

The Backflip cover I bought with my 2013 6.5 foot F150 fits my 2015. If anything it fits that 2015 better!

I also used my Bakflip not sure which one it is but it's a hard folding cover from my 2013 on my 2015.
