I think the last version of the Hints, Tips and Tricks is this one.
"Hints, Tips and Tricks v 1.1 12-06-17.pdf"

I'll check it out.

Not a hint, tip or trick... more of a quirk. 2017 XLT long bed.

Inspection is due next day, and of course one of my brake lights burns out. No big deal, I buy a pair of bulbs on the way home...
Next morning is cold and I warm up the truck while changing the bulb.... NO LIGHT!
I can see the old bulb is burned out, but neither of the new bulbs seem to work. Now I don't know what to do.
So I take it to get inspected. and it PASSES!
The computer would not recognize the new bulb until it rebooted!

One further question, I have heard that to disable the tailgate lock you cut the green-white wire on the tailgate wiring harness. Is this correct?

Probably best for your question to be in a help thread instead of a tip and trick. I understand that cutting the factory could be a trick, but more of a hack. I have neve heard a single person in over a year state they have disabled their tailgate lock that way.

So yeah, maybe make a new thread so the helpful hints/tips thread doesn't become a how to cut your factory wiring thread.

It's to get to the crank for your spare tire to lower it down.
