The differences were in performance, mainly, yes, shift pattern, I think - but mayhap I was imagining it. I'll have to try her key again, and see if I can pinpoint the difference.

It did cause me to stop and switch keys, though, so there must have been something ...
They are smart keys and each one knows it's not the other one as does the truck. That's how the mirror and seats are set for you if your fob opens and starts the truck and not your wife's. I'm wondering if the transmission is also learning each key and keeping that key holders driving style in memory and ready for when that key is driving.

That makes me wonder if picking the truck up from the dealer where I left it with fob *** is why it drove so much different when picking it up after the transmission flash. As they left the truck running for me. And the few times I have driven the truck since then I have used the same fob.. I'm going to have to drive it tomorrow with the * fob and see if it's back to the old way of shifting. I sure hope not!

I've seen this posted a few times now, so I thought I'd go ahead and post the solution in here in case it comes up again. If your MFT screen is not going back to your previous screen after shifting from R to D, but instead is going to the Phone screen and not responsive to touch - try turning 911 Assist ON. This has fixed this problem for myself and several other members on the site. Hope it works for you.

How are you using it?
I use it poorly. Too shallow for anything other than a flashlight. Similarly, the stupid little storage area under the door handle. Just a place for crap to settle.

Finally found a use for the small tray in the center console! I'm sure someone will claim it's for pens or pencils, but it holds a McDonalds sauce cup perfectly!

I use the 2 rear ones. I don't generally have drinks in the truck, and can move the gum and cell holder as needed.

Or I get lazy, and drop a bottle sideways in the left bin.

Don't have one of them around here to test with.
