Hints, Tips and Tricks
All should unlock. My rear doors had some gremlins for unlocking that seemed to be software related early on but have since not reappeared. It was really cold when it happened making me think it was mechanical but after investigating it seemed to present as a software thing.
Yes, I rely on my mirrors as well, and have done for a long time (over 50 years) and that's fine for stationary objects. BUT it's not the stationary objects that I want to warn with the beeper. Except for cousin Wally, but that's another story.
It's those sleepwalkers or cellphone zombies that bother me. I hate the paperwork involved when you flatten one! Then there are the rugrats - gotta let mom know her kid is about to become parking lot detritus.

I think you are trying to disable 2 stage locking. When using the intelligent entry when I picked up the truck it was annoying trying to put stuff in the backseat without having to use the physical key.
From the manual pg 66
Press and hold both the lock and unlock
buttons on the remote control for four
seconds to disable or enable two-stage
unlocking. Disabling two-stage unlocking
allows your entire vehicle to unlock with
one press of the button. The direction
indicators flash twice to indicate a change
to the unlocking mode. The unlocking
mode applies to the remote control and
keyless entry keypad.
Intelligent access at the driver door will
unlock your entire vehicle when you disable
two-stage unlocking.

Great thread, took me awhile to wade through it all, but all great information.
I made kind of a last minute decision last Thursday and bought a 2015 Super Crew, took advantage of the FEP promotion up here (Alberta) on the last day it was in effect. I just got an XLT with the standard trim, running boards and tow package (not max tow) as I wanted to keep the price low. I'd have left off the RB's but since I was picking off a lot this was the truck closest to what I was looking for.
It was a bittersweet decision because now my beloved '99 7.3 oilburner is now going into semi retirement. She's 8000 km's short of 700,000 km's and for $$ per kilometer is the cheapest vehicle I've owned, period.
Anyway, I was trying last night to get it to play my iPhone songs with out using the USB cord, just use the BT connection. No way could I get it to work. The phone is paired correctly and works fine. Using the cord is no biggie I guess, as it also keeps the phone charged, but there's the occasion I may forget the cord.
Also, will it (iPhone) work with the aux in jack if there's no USB cord?
BTW, this is the first F150 I've owned in 25 years, last one being a '78 reg cab short box with the big 400 cube mill in it, been driving diesels since. Have to say I'm impressed with this truck big time! With the 3.5 EB this truck has cojones! I drove so called muscle cars in the 70's that this truck would put to shame..

I don't know if this has been mentioned in this thread but it is 56 pages long and I don't have time to read each one. Although I probably should.
I left my Lariat 2.7 (push button start) running for about 20 mins with my mother and daughter in the truck. When I came back to them, the truck was not running. I ask my mother if she turn off the motor and she said that a message on the information display said it was going to turn off in 30 seconds, to cancel press the start button. I guess this is another fuel saving add on that Ford has included into the 2.7, I don't know if the other different engine types do the same.

It's to cut down on the number of people that are so disappointed in their new trucks that they park them in the garage with the engine running trying to kill themselves!

My dad has a 2015 SuperCrew Lariat. I haven't had time to research this for him, but thought I'd ask to see if anyone has the answer...
When he stops the truck, turns it off and opens his door, the passenger door unlocks, but the back 2 don't... The child locks aren't on (as far as I can tell)... is there something I can change to make this work for him?
