We have never owned any vehicle with that feature. I don't think anybody in our family has. It doesn't seem particularly common. Just, to be fair.

My 2005 Altima had it. 2016 F150 and 2017 Forester don't have it, major steps backwards.

With the truck in reverse, you get the same two extra views, only with the tail gate camera instead.
I can’t get anything but my rear facing camera to work in my ‘17 Lariat. I bought it used a couple months back, and it has the front camera, BLIS power folding tow mirrors w cameras, a camera button on the dash next to the auto stop button, a little icon of the truck surrounded by sensor indicators and the plus sign on the 8” display (which doesn’t let me zoom in on the hitch). I’ve been through the owner manual, the settings in Sync 3, and also on the cluster display, but can’t get it to work. Both rear camera delay and park assist are enabled in camera settings. Any ideas what I’m doing wrong? It appears to be fully loaded minus trailer pro otherwise.

I had the exact same thing. Checked that the camera cable wasn't disconnected to the tailgate. That was fine, so a call to dealer. 10 minute (free) flash of the sync 3 and it was up and running again.

Hope that helps.

Good to know. I’ll ask the dealer to have a look at it. Thanks!

Is all this stuff mandated by big brother? Much like TPMS?
I had the lane monitoring feature on a Fusion. It worked, but I would turn off often since it on many occasions would in my opinion correct you back in your lane too aggressively to where you felt out of control.

I had it in a 2013 BMW 335i and my 2016 Silverado (though it would not roll up the windows)
BTW, I programmed that BMW with ease, can't wait to try Forscan

Factory windows roll down (and sunroof open) has been a fairly standard option in mid level vehicles for at least 14 or 15 years- not exactly exotic or a super luxe feature, unless Honda and Nissan fall into those categories. It’s not a necessity, but sure is nice on a hot day, and would complement the remote start feature very nicely. Just sayin
