I think u can program 1 key as a mykey to have valet modes and then it limits certain functions then u give that fob to the valet and lock the glovebox prior on my mustang valet mode wouldn't let the truck be opened when that key was used I'm not sure about the glove box though
How do you remove the bottom driver seat cushion? I have a 2018 stx so it has the lumbar **** and manual handle for back adjustment. I’m looking to add some cushion because i feel way to sunken in. I’ve tried searching and I could only find how to remove the trim on the power seats. I see two Torx screws on the side shield, where do I go from there? I’m a newb so please don’t flame me
Did you buy it new? It should have come with a regular key too. The one in the fob is for emergency use.
I did buy new i have two fobs that have keys in them. a brass key that looks like the ones in the fob like its to make copies and the box link key. no normal looking key to be found.
You all probably have noticed this but it's a great upgrade from my 2007. At the front of the closure for the arm rest, there are notches cut so you can have a phone charge cable come out easily with the console closed. This may have been here on earlier years but not on my 2007.

New owner--old Ford guy, however--of an '18 XL with the 4" menu screen and wondering if there's a way to disable the auto-lock feature (without using FORScan). Looked in the OM and thru the DIC and can't find that option. I don't even want to share the number of times I've hopped out of the truck, left the engine running to run around the back of the truck to get something out of the bed only to find...F#@%!!! The tailgate is locked!!!

the setting is there on the left side of the steering wheel.... Auto Lock "off"
If Ford changed the MFT display (My Ford Touch (2014 had these icons)) by taking the seat icons off the screen (15 and up) and only using the "heated steering wheel" icon......why have i found found multiple at least 2015 MFT's displaying the seat icons?? --2015 Platinum

If they are pre-owned trucks, it is highly likely that the previous owner activated the icons with FORScan
Thanks for the insight......not sure if they are new, i assumed they were i snagged them off a nov. 2015 posting. Oh well, probably better off pushing buttons
