I had the lane monitoring feature on a Fusion. It worked, but I would turn off often since it on many occasions would in my opinion correct you back in your lane too aggressively to where you felt out of control.
Same here. It might be nice on a long road trip, but I had it turned on for in town driving, and after a couple days, I had to disable it, because it honestly made me feel like I was going to wreck.

We have a Honda with lane departure warning or whatever they call it. It didn't take long for us to each disable it full time. Once in awhile I'll turn it back on for long interstate hauls, but that's it...and not always even then.
I've driven a bit in a Lexus that had the full lane keep system as well, and it was mostly annoying.
IDK how different the Ford is, never had it, but it seems like something that's hard to get right/be unobtrusive.

Ford is not much different then the Lexus, not quite as good but like most I don't really like it. Seems like it does not center the lane well enough for me. Long hauls I just let the warning work not the steering wheel correction. Off the rest of the time.
Just picked up my new 2019 Lariat and after reading this thread, well half way now, and thought I'd post the new hidden location change. Maybe some else already posted this in the last half of this thread that I haven't gotten to yet. It's now under the cup holder nearest to the screen. Only problem now is the cupholder is not usable if the fob is in it. Here are the pics. Old location

Leave fob in there = truck quickly stolen.
My God...am I the only one who reads their manual?

My point was just to point out that the location has changed. Yes, I know its for programming. No need to get your God involved. In previous years, if you left your fob in your truck and locked it via the pad it would lock the doors and deactivate the easy entry (or what ever its called when you touch the handle). Some people do this to avoid carrying the fob on them and used the previous location. Its not a bad idea if your going surfing, fishing, hiking.... Not sure if its still the case with the 2019. I'll check this out later on today.
Confirmed that it is still the same with the 2019. If you leave you FOB in the truck and use the keypad to lock the doors and the tailgate, it will not unlock with the handles. You have to enter your code to unlock.
