My bad.
Posting on here is less user friendly than my ex-wife; and that is saying something!

Apparently I got cut off. That usually only happens at the bar on pay day.
No more analogies, I promise.

This is off the main undercarriage about a foot back of the rear diff.
approx mid: between rear axle and pig tail for tailgate/tail lights.
Runs off main and has two wires.

Again, thanks for the assist.

After inspecting my own truck, I feel I can identify this plug with 99% certainty. I'm guessing that neither of you have an Electronic Locking Differential. That is where the green plug leads to on my truck.

You are correct. I just went out and looked again and its plugged into the left side of the pumpkin. I didn't think to look anywhere other than near the spot in the picture the first time I checked.

I *want* an E-locker. I have *been wanting* an E-locker since I got the truck!

I would find it low-mileage salvage. I should go look for that plug. I seem to recall the color last time I was up under there fiddlin' with my 4-pin to 7-pin trailer wiring harness conversion. Then I'd need the switch and FORScan. Oh, and a back up camera and that rigamarole.

Thanks fellers!

You keep wanting and you'll wind up with a truck like mine.....the only thing original is the VIN!

Oh, the things you've done to your truck! I am not man enough.

Seriously, a locker and a b/u cam and my truck'd be near perfect for me. yeehaw.

Oh, and a re-gear, but that would come with the 3.55 or 3.73 E-locker, see.

I have done a word document on the side and tried to copy and paste any useful hints, tricks etc to keep it compiled. I just need to read through it and to clean it up and get rid of duplicates. I have no references to who wrote what but my plan was to post it all in one post. The first post could be edited to add all that in. Let me know if you think that would be useful or not....

Secondly -- there were discussions about bringing up the compass, set direction and then you see the speed limit on the dash. That made me look at it today and actually pay attention to my navigation screen.

Has everyone noticed that if you go to map mode (don't need to set where you are going) then on the screen it will show what the speed limit is. It is very small but it is there both in the highway exit information mode and normal mode
That would be extremely useful! We're you ever able to create that folder with all the information in one location?

Really disappointed that the auto window rolldown isn’t a feature. I love my truck, but come on Ford- my 2008 Honda Accord has the option to roll down (and roll up) all windows from outside the car.

You can enable global windows (front only) with your key fob using forscan. Read the first post Forscan sticky including links to learn all the coil things you can do.
