Trying to find hiding places in truck don't want wife to know so she is out. Heck never going to show her the under seat space either. Tried hook, tried camera, tried box wrench, tried hemostat, guess I'll go looking for a kid!

I don't know if this was answered here.. I looked for an answer everywhere and still can't find a good solution...

how do I disable the annoying double honk when exiting the vehicle while the engine is running???

(and no, leaving one FOB in the car is not a good solution)

leave the fob in the truck or the door open or turn off the truck - thats it. No other solutions.

Don't close the door all the way. Leave it cracked. Works perfect for me

I believe it has something to do with the tailgate extender.

Yes, you are absolutely right. When the extended tailgate is placed into position for use, the tailgate has a pin that drops in so that the tailgate stays in place.

I have been looking for a way to roll all the windows down from outside the truck to let it start cooling off without wasting gas. I read in the manual that if you enter your unlock code (and you don't have it already set to unlock all doors) then press 3 within a few seconds it will unlock all the doors. So I was trying that and pressing the other buttons to see if maybe one would roll down the windows. Well I had the truck backed up to my boat trailer just because I was trying to practice using the camera to hitch alone. So I entered my code and pressed 7 and the tailgate dropped! Which was really cool, but I instantly remembered my trailer jack was there and sprinted to try to catch it. I think I would have got there in time because of the tailgate assist, but luckily it missed the jack by an inch anyways.

Still haven't figured out a way to roll the windows down though. My Titan would do it off you just held the unlock button on the fob.

And I also read in the manual about a quiet mode when remote starting. It says that it doesn't run the fan as fast or something. I've tried finding that setting and can't. Any ideas on how to enable that?

Wow, that was a close call with the tail gate.

These things are crazy with all the stuff it can do, like learning new software!

Hope you figure it out and can let us know!

There is no global open option for our trucks...but it is a nice feature. My mothers 6 year old Caddy has it.

The global is nice but it is tied to On Star and you have to pay for that.

At least these have the keypad to enter your code.

Of course you have to set it and remember it but not an issue for me unless I get Alzheimer or something.

Think I like the keypad better, guess I'm cheap.
