That's normal. If you look, the rear locks have a groove to grab the lock and pull up to unlock while the front locks do not. Only the front door unlock when opened, and the truck needs to be off for all doors (and tailgate!) to unlock when you open one of the front doors.
I guess it's so kids (or drunk adults??) don't try to exit the truck while moving, but can still let themselves out with some effort (unlike with child locks).
OK that took awhile but 88 pages later I got here....
I have done a word document on the side and tried to copy and paste any useful hints, tricks etc to keep it compiled. I just need to read through it and to clean it up and get rid of duplicates. I have no references to who wrote what but my plan was to post it all in one post. The first post could be edited to add all that in. Let me know if you think that would be useful or not....
Secondly -- there were discussions about bringing up the compass, set direction and then you see the speed limit on the dash. That made me look at it today and actually pay attention to my navigation screen.
Has everyone noticed that if you go to map mode (don't need to set where you are going) then on the screen it will show what the speed limit is. It is very small but it is there both in the highway exit information mode and normal mode

This guy will walk you through it. took me a couple tries then I found this video. It's there and it works. Just make sure you get the alignment right when you go to put it back up, or it won't lock. Also I undid mine too fast and the little spring came unhooked, thought I broke it. Just put the spring back in the hole and all good.
So I just learned that if you tell my truck a song you want to listen to and it's saved to your phone or usb it will find the song and play it. Cheers to not having to search through folders to find a song to listen to!!!
While we're on it;
Check out the Backup Camera settings:
Camera ON/OFF. Defaults to ON. OK.
Rear Camera Delay: Defaults to OFF. The RCD controls when the backup camera turns off. The backup camera defaults to shutting off when you switch from reverse into any gear except PARK.
You can change that by setting the "Rear Camera Delay" to ON.
The camera will remain on in forward gears until your speed reaches 6mph.
I find this helpful when I'm pulling into my now "too small" garage.
I use the red lines to know when I've cleared the garage door.

That's pretty cool,

If your truck has LED cargo lights, turn them on at night with the tailgate and tonneau closed. You can instantly see where gaps or potential leaks exist. My Extang Trifecta seals up against the bed rails really well, but the truck's tailgate side and bottom edges are another story. I'm installing a tailgate seal today.

I have a 2015 XLT SCREW.
