this should be what it says when your phone is connected radio on or off then just hit inbox and choose the message u want to hear

I think it's pretty cool even if it's not programmed. It's a carefree place to leave the key and just use the number pad to lock and unlock the doors. Given that it's winter though, I'll hold off on this. That remote start is lovely.

On my 2017 Limited it is under the front most cup holder in center console

Stupid question time: my FOBs have the valet key and my truck came with a valet key (2018 Lariat 502A). However, I see no exterior key lock or interior ignition key?! I've looked multiple times. Went through owner manual and find nothing there either. What am I missing?

I believe it is so you can lock up your center console and glove box so that the valet cannot get into them (needing the FOB to part the truck)?

Also used to unlock your spare tire from the rear bumper access.

My 2018 502a only came with two fobs that have key that pulls out of the fob for locking the console and spare tire release. Do I just lock the console and remove the key from the fob and hand the valet just the fob and keep the key part with me?
