LOL, While complaining about posts not having anything to do with "hints tips & tricks" clogging up emails, we've managed to add 3 (now 4) posts into unsuspecting users email's.

I think it has to do with the brightness of the dash lights. Run it up to full bright and the washout goes away.

Does the smaller xlt 4.2” Center stack screen show a text msg icon? Mine doesn’t seem to? It has the 911 thing though etc.

Default Easier way to unlatch the large back seat

This may have been discovered previously but, if so, I haven’t found it.
To lower the seat back of the large rear seat in the 2015 Lariat Super Crew, it’s easy to access the latch if you do it with the seat bottom in the upright position. That allows much more space to get your hand in to the latch.
After releasing the latch, then lower the seat bottom, and then the seat back comes down easily.
Thanks for all the great tips on this forum. I learned a lot reading this.

sorry about that I had to have my post numbers up to look in the for sale stuff so I went around to threads that looked interesting and helpful and got the count up. Sorry everyone put your pitchforks and torches down. If your ever in the area I'll buy u a beer. I'll add a helpful tip on my after market remote start from lesco electronics Ebay store if your having a hard time getting the truck to start quickly go through the lock unlock lock sequence more than once or do it quicker.

lots of good info, thanks. I tried to disconnect the door chime and disconnected the blue and grey wire. This worked but only if the ignition is on. Any ideas which wire to turn it off for the accessories key position? I don't want to trial and error it in case I do something screwy and void the warranty lol.
