Hints, Tips and Tricks
I drilled a hole in the little pin on the back of the seat, added a small key ring to it, and tied a piece of paracord from the key ring to the headrest bar.
Then made a gun rack that holds an AR15 hidden behind the seat using the factory seat bolts, some 1 in aluminum bar, and quick fist clamps.

One tip for 2017 Owners.......... do not use a protective extendable usb flash drive in the top port of the console.it will allow you to close the door...but due to ribbed support under sliding cover .....the cover will lock up when you try to open the console sliding cover.Had use screwdriver and coat hanger to remove flash drive!!!!!!! An obvious ford design overlook. Hope this helps anyone who encounters same issue.Use bottom usb port....it has enough clearance.

Had an idea. My next truck is a base model 2018 xl scab. There are lots of add ons like a 36 gal tank, tow package etc. but because it's a work truck it only has the basic sync system. My idea was rather than shell out a pile of cash for a new stereo, take the data only SIM card out of my iPad and put it in a spare iphone I have. Then plug it into the sync, stow it in the storage box on the console and forget about it. Now I have streaming music, wifi hotspot, always on gps to locate my truck, turn by turn directions, Siri. What's not to like? I checked online and it looks like you can take an iPad data sim and use it in an iPhone. 10 bucks a month on my plan. If it works I'll have a poor mans sync three. I'll let you all know.
