To get to the driver's side rear seat fold down easier I used a zip tie on the strap:

I wish mine had a strap on it, think they skipped that on mine. I use a box end wrench, reach back there with it and pull on the lever. I think if I have to make a habit of going back there, I will end up drilling a small hole through the level/shaft and putting some sort of tie on it.

Yeah I might store some tow ropes and jumper cables back there.

On my '14 Screw cab, I lowered the back of the rear seats, drilled holes in the pin and used fishing leaders to connect to the pin. I then made a loop at the other end and dropped the headrest bar through it before putting the headrest back in. I always had a wire to grab hold of and never had to hunt for it cause it was always attached to the headrest pole. You can always put something over the leader if you're hands are too soft to pull on that small a wire, or put something over your finger, but that was the best solution as knots come untied, or ropes can wear and break, or everything comes apart or you just can't find the pull cord any more. I will be doing the same on my 16 Lariat. The nice thing about the fishing leader is that it is strong and very hard to see if you don't know what to look for or reach for.

I drilled a hole in the little pin on the back of the seat, added a small key ring to it, and tied a piece of paracord from the key ring to the headrest bar.

Then made a gun rack that holds an AR15 hidden behind the seat using the factory seat bolts, some 1 in aluminum bar, and quick fist clamps.

LMAO A little overkill there eh? I got a glock behind the seat belt buckle in a holster, almost a natural holster draw position. But I guess I could stick one of my AR's back there in case of hog

Lol, I think thats a sweet rifle set up. Probably the most secure place you could put that thing without dropping $$$ on a gun lock/safe. Noone would ever look there.
