My 2016 (June 16, 2016 build date) has Sync 3 V1.0. How do I get it to update to When I first brought it home I synced it to my home wi-fi and it updated to V 1.1. I have no idea how it went back to V 1.0. I'm sorry if this has been answered, but 4012 posts and a short attention span and all.

We'll assume the risks with updates like this and move forward. You'd find most of us here don't trust stealerships and prefer to control our own destiny.
You keep enhancing the product for us. Looking forward to AI when SYNC asks me driving home if I'm hungry as I left the office late, and then tells me where I can get food on the way home. And since SYNC knows my preferences, it has already checked for specials and reads them to me and then orders.
May I have everybody's attention? I have finally successfully upgraded Sync3 and my android now syncs. Everybody now go out and celebrate my successful upgrade. No alcohol drinks! It impairs driving. Ya hear meh?
Thanks everybody for the help and tips!
I have Sync3 Version 2.2 build 16280. Truck has a build date a Feb 2017. How do I know if my truck "qualifies" for build 17011? I performed the auto update while connected to Wi-Fi and it checked successfully, but didn't auto-update to build 17011.
No, that particular nav package combination wouldn't end up in a production vehicle. It's like the 2.x release that made it's way onto the web early. From memory, it had a Chinese Gracenote data package with it. Whoever is putting the files together seems to not always select proper packages. The only way to know if you got all the right ones is to compare in the bezel diag which package versions you have vs. a production vehicle. The "17194" only references one of them, so it may appear you've got the same thing, but in reality don't.
