So I just bought my first truck, a 2016 F150 XLT. I have Sync 3 V1 and would like to upgrade but the Ford owners website says I have the current version. I upgraded the USB module but cant find the update. Can I download it from somewhere?

Wow, this thread is hard to find anything in. Wish we would have had separate AA and Carplay threads.
Anyway, have a 2016, September build. I just switched from an Android to Apple. AA worked fine. It came with SYNC 2.0 but I guess I still need a new USB hub. The sticky says HC3Z-19A387-B is a valid hub, but that's listed as a 2016 part, the 2017 part is HC3Z-19A387-C. Is there a chance I already have HC3Z-19A387-B? I guess I should just take it apart and check, but I don't have any trim tools yet.

As far as I am aware, there is no v2.3 Non-Nav released/available yet (nav-only to date). v.2.2 Non-Nav exists though.

Howdy I just installed the USB hub in my 2016 Sync 3 Ver 2.3 . I don't have my wifes phone iPhone here she is at work. I have my Samsung only so I can not just plug it in. What I was wondering is, on my Explorer it had an Icon for Car Play under settings. On my F150 it does not show the Icon. Will it show up after I plug in the iPhone? Or should it just read the hub and put it there? I will not have the phone until after 6PM tonight. I am just trying to make sure it will work or if I got a bad hub.
