You need to reapply the file. It happens when the upgrade process gets interrupted. Gracenotes is actually one of the bigger improvements in 3.0. In my case in 2.2 it was worth a crap. With 3.0 I actually get all the album art covers and the correct genres.
Has anyone running v3.0 figured out how to disable the wireless notification popup from occurring when starting up? I don't get it everytime but seems to be popping up more frequently. I have wireless disabled in settings and it doesn't seem to make a difference. Thanks for any info.

Does your Gracenote have a version number showing?
I kept getting that wireless message until I tried one more time upgrading last night. The 3.0 was working fine, just no version on Gracenotes. So I tried to reinstall 3.0 again. Nothing changed.
So then I tried to go back to version 2.2 which didn't happen, still 3.0, but when it finished installing this time and I pulled the USB out and let the truck sit for an hour. When I came out to go somewhere, I looked at the version again, still 3.0 and no version on Gracenotes. As I pulled out of the garage the Gracenotes updated and gave me a version number. So far no more messages looking for a network. I did have the wifi connected while the update happened and I do have the new USB connector for Sync 3.

I was getting the wifi pop ups as well every time that I started my truck after the V3 update, I went in and turned off the wifi and still got it, then I turned off the automatically look for updates option and have not received the wifi message since. I figure if I want to search for updates, I can either do it manually or just wait until its posted here.

Please respond to this. You said it was not an official release. This contradicts your post.
Just because it had not been made public...yet. We all get that. Your employer takes a while to push any change to production.
They lack the testicular fortitude to engage. Instead of helping their customers increase product satisfaction, they sit with their hands in their pocket. Easier this way.
This may have been in 2.2 and I just never noticed.....
When I get a new text message the normal buttons come up for "hear it" etc., but now the text of that text message is also displayed with the buttons.

I believe that is only the case when you are stopped. Once the truck is moving, you only have the option to "hear" it.
Both Nav and Non-Nav are not what you want to install. Nav has an older voice package so some things will not work properly. Besides, there may be some better release that goes out as the update. Thus why I recommend waiting for the official packages
