Everything is great so far.

That's good. It was nice not having to reprogram everything.

Really? I took my truck in on 03/18 and they ordered the APIM that day and it was in by 03/20 but I didn't get around to dropping my truck off again until this week.

2018 F150 purchased new 11/18/2018

I have just made the 4th payment on my $46,000 F150, and am experiencing all the issues previously written about here. Tried the various resets etc. Unbelievable. I cannot understand how I let myself buy another Ford. Does anybody know how long the replacement modules last? Couple months?

I'm going to document every thing said and done, including record conversations, to start the lemon law buyback. You know, like last time I bought a Ford.

Dealing with electronics my self, I don't blame Ford I blame the make of the APIM. If you have a good dealership, they should just replace the unit and give you a loaner. The upgrade APIM corrects the issue and after mine was replaced it has never worked as fast as the older one. Once they order the unit, it takes anywhere from 1 to 4 weeks (they seem to be in stock now). It will take them about 2 to 4 hours to replace, the dealership took a little longer because they had to reflash my ECU as well.

BTW, the new APIM seems faster and more responsive than the old one. Maybe it's just me, but I love that it does not drop calls anymore.

The dealer, Columbine Ford, took my truck in today and I have a loaner. Nobody looked confused or surprised when I told them about the symptoms. The sales people even said it happened to theirs too. No ETA, but they asked me to come back in 2000 miles for a different loaner. Not a good sign. Will update.

Got my truck back from the dealer today. Only a 3 day turnaround. Not bad. They replaced the APIM under warranty, but now I'm stuck in the wifi update purgatory now
