Thanks for the help everyone! I got the front camera installed yesterday. It was a fairly straightforward process thanks to TexasFording's pdf. The instructions don't mention though how the rear bracket for the front camera fits on so I've included a picture of it. I don't really think it's necessary to even use though. Also, you'll need 3 screws to mount the camera to the grill, I used #6-32 x 3/4" screws and they worked great.
I finally got to install my camera kit over the holidays. I like the functionality and the quality is pretty good as well.
I have manual tow mirrors, which do not have a location for the cameras, as do the standard mirrors shown in the installation instructions posted by TexasFording. I mounted them basically in the same location, close to the door, under the folding hinge. However there isn't enough depth inside to fit the camera and wire between the black plastic housing and the hinge mechanism, even though the camera is only about 3/8" deep. On the inside there is about 3/16 to 1/4. I mounted the cameras inside of a black nylon bushing that I glued to the underside with black silicone in a 1" diameter hole. The bushing had an ID of 3/4", and the camera requires a 20mm hole so I had to ream it out a little. The cameras fit nice and snug. The bushing had a 3/16" thick flange, so i added black nylon washers with matching diameters to add to the thickness. I had to cut some length off of the bushing, as it was too long. I got both the bushing and matching washers from McMaster-Carr. They came out pretty good and blend in with the mirrors. I attached a couple of pictures.

That's hardcore. Damn fine job. Looks more natural to me than OEM.

Look good! I have the motorized version of the tow mirrors. I wonder if the motors are up, down, or both, and if I'll have the same space has you have to drill thru and pass the wire...
I also agree with TF, it looks better this way than the OEM way.
If you have other pics of your mirror modification or if you took more pictures during the brainstorm and install, please post them.
Looking forward to your video.
If the weather is gentle enuff tomorrow or friday, I'm planning to take apart the dash and do some testing with the setup with the secondary backup camera.

Thanks! I'm not sure about the power fold mirrors if they would be the same on the bottom of the hinge as the manuals. One thing for sure is that there are no moving parts when folding the mirror.
I do have some other pics I took during the install that I can post. I was able to fish the cable through the door without removing the inside door panel. If you don't have one of those flexible grabbing tools, get one. It makes things much easier, as advised by TF. I would be interested to see how the secondary backup camera works out.
I went out and shot some video here at work. I will post later with the pics, because it will likely be dark by the time I get home. Still at work now.
Overall I am pleased with the system. Only one thing I wish it would do is include the side cameras when you manually activate. It only cycles from the back to the front camera.
Yes, I remember seeing this also when I made this discovery. I contacted camera-source about it, and they called me back and said that this is how it is designed to work, without the side cameras. I told them about TF's mention of it working, because he and I had been emailing each other during each others installs. I emailed Joe about it and he explained that when he first did the manual activation while in Park, not in Drive, he did have the side cameras in the cycle, but it was by accident. He had some dip switches set incorrect which made that work, but at the expense of losing the rear camera guidelines and sonar sensors. Once the dip switches were corrected, The rear camera operated correctly, but no longer had the side cameras in manual activation cycle. I am hoping that they can eventually get this to work, as it does seem possible. They could then provide an update to reflash the module which has a USB port for that, I assume. However, I don't know if that is something they are looking in to. I'll have to check back with them on this. Camera-Source has been very supportive and helpful, answering and returning all call promptly.
I took a few videos to show the camera in operation. They are from the parking lot at work. I tried driving down the road and doing it, but it wasn't that easy trying to keep your eyes on the road and the phone while trying to video. The videos would came out shaky too. I abandoned that before I ended up crashing lol.
I am having an issue trying to put the videos on here, which I though was due to file size limit. Corrected that but still won't allow me to attach it. I'll figure that out and post em later.
