Adding Front Camera to XLT
That, or go to AutoZone or wherever and get a little mirror that's mounted on the end of a telescopic wand. You may be able to stick it in there and get a look. My guess is you likely have them. If the grill has the tophat cutout under your badge, then likely has the mounting points. Mine did, which I discovered after I bought another grill.
Easier to feel the lower mount point by sliding your hand under the lower bar and feeling higher in the middle of the bar right under the emblem. You will feel a post sticking up. This is where the OE camera connects on the lower portion of the camera.
Hi everybody,
Just want to mention that I have received my order from Camera-Source. I have yet to wire anything but at first glance, as others have stated so far, the apparent quality of the product looks quite good. Everything is well package and look very professional.
In my case I ordered a secondary commercial backup camera that I intend to mount on my travel trailer. Camera-Source sell all the cabling necessary for enabling this with connector to mount on the trailer and truck, etc.
I will be trying to "add" a bypass into the video output of the module and into the APIM for the secondary backup camera that, I hope, will be able to use to "see" behind the trailer during standard highway drive and during backing up somewhere.
I also have a few other ideas I want to try out...
If anybody is interested in this kind of setup, I'll keep updating...
Now for the christmas vacation to arrive...

Finished my install last night - Front only at this time.
Great product. Only problem I ran into was using the crimp style connectors for 12V output and Ground coming from Harness 2. Couldn't get front camera to program and be found. Cut out the crimp connectors and soldered together. Perfect.
Great product.
Have been driving around today with front camera turned on. With the 170 degree camera, it looks like you are going 100 mph.

I received my kit today and am excited to install it! I didn't see in the install directions though where/how to connect the 12v power and ground. Anyone got any directions or pics of this step?
Also, it looks like I received a rear camera OEM bracket as well. Did anyone else get this piece in their front/side kit?
Lastly, does anyone know what type of screws are needed to secure the front camera mount to the grill? I'll just find some that work if needed but thought I'd ask. Thanks!

Black 12V Ground connected to Black on Front camera harness.
I used crimp connectors first time. Had trouble. Removed and soldered these connections and then taped them up.
