Adding auto climate to XLT.
I just picked up a auto climate control for my 2015 XLT.
It looks like all the posts in this thread talk about doing it with Sync 3 2016+
Has anyone performed this mod with a 2015 my ford touch (sync 2) setup? Looks like I would have to figure out a way to add the climate tab to my ford touch?
I also wanted to verify the settings. I looked over the thread and found 3 values that need to be changed?
7D0-01-01 xxxx-xxx2-xxxx
7D0-01-02 xxxx-x2xx-xxxx
7D0-04-01 xxxx-xxx2-xxxx
Thanks!

@Shoman594 I did this to my 2017 F150 when I first swapped out the 4" for the 8". I got a Sync 2 system and worked fine. I did have fix the wiring harness correctly since it was a 4" Sync 1 system. There were a few Forscan changes and they are listed on the spreadsheets in the FORScan thread. Also the change to enable the climate quadrant is listed on the FORScan spreadsheets too.
Hope this helps.

If you’re referring to the bezel swap, then yes, the climate control and vent speed both can be controlled from the display. Without the new bezel, you can still control airspeed and the modes (AC, Max AC, window defrost, etc.) by just turning it on using Forscan. The air temperatures will be blank though.
If you’re referring to my module I’m working on, all it’s going to do right now is allow control of the heated seats from the new bezel. It sounds like a few other members like me wanted the auto climate functionality so we don’t have to mess with the dials all the time but still want to retain heated seats for the cold months.

It would be awesome if you could just use the temp sensor by the steering wheel and control the Auto climate with the sync 3 screen?
Does the dual climate control bezel from the platinum have an additional temp sensor in it that makes the temps show up?
Wanted to give a shout out to Mdmay62 for the awesome wiring harness to add back the heated seat functionality after swapping the auto climate bezel! Was really great having the seats working again this morning since it’s cold outside again. He really went out of his way to work with me, top notch customer service.
What vehicle did you put it into? I’ve just picked up a 2018 XLT FX4 and the lack of auto climate is biggest thing annoying me.
Would you happen to have a part number for this?
I'm not sure if there has been confusion or not but I just want to make sure. My harness is for trucks that had heated seats from the factory and the radio/climate bezel has been updated to include auto-climate and the heated seats do not work anymore. It does not add auto-climate, and does require the purchase of a Seat Control Module or Seat Climate Module (SCME, sold separately). It allows the original XLT heated seats to be used with the upgraded radio/climate bezel. Thanks!
