Yep the on screen controls work even for the XLT. It’s the power distribution that’s different from the lariat

Are you saying the heated seats work if I enable them on the touchscreen via Forscan even with the Lariat bezel ?

No- not unless you replace all the rest of the seat controllers and wiring as well.

Didn’t see this discussed but in theory if you added your own Aftermarket button and tap into the XLT FCIM wiring harness to control the heated seats. Would that work?

Default It already works with the XLT bezel

What are you suggesting? Your post makes no sense. Heated seats work fine with the XLT bezel.

If you meant the Lariat bezel - for the hundredth time, it’s missing wiring and hardware throughout the truck. Hacking anything doesn’t change that.

Default Climate

I think he’s stating if you swapped over to a lariat and up bezel, tapping into the xlt wiring harness for the seats and adding an auxiliary switch

Correct. Apologies if that wasn’t clear in the post. This was what I was thinking. I don’t know if anyone has tried it but again, in theory could that work?

in theory it should because you are basically bypassing any fcim. And if the xlt fcim directly powers the heated seats an 12v auxiliary switch would do the same thing. Just wouldn’t have high medium and low.
