I got the ones with a dual "scroll wheel" so it would retain the last setting on re-start, mounted one of the switches where the push-button start would be the passenger one next to the glove box.

 

do you know if just the cooled option can be done with this kit and keep the OEM heat?

 

Need to change the heat panels to perforated heat panels to allow the air through. But there may be a way to make it all work with stock controls, wasn’t worth the trouble to me.....
OEM heat uses a heat sensor built in and manipulates the on / off time. They don’t run continuously. Very different than aftermarket.

I was in the process of installing auto climate with a new FCIM and the hew harness and seat control module when I ran into some snags. My battery began to die and my truck would not start. The dealer found a blown fuse at F18 and replaced it. The truck would start, but soon after began to have major problems. My FCIM controls would not work. My door lock controls and power mirror functions would not work. I checked things with Forscan and got the DTCs listed below. I would appreciate any help in tracking down what might be wrong. I did check the CAN buses at the OBD port and got 60 ohms of resistance on both the medium and high ones.

Looking through the DTCs I have a few thoughts on this now with an expansion of the knowledge. I know it reads the Gateway module is ok but it is a common communication point for many if not all of the module that are throwing communication errors. Other thoughts are FCIM issue or BCM issue. If I remember correctly the initial issue could feed power into the communication system shorting out the communication of certain modules or shorting out the gateway module.

Before this thread turns into a complete off topic spam-fest....

I took a chance and ordered a 2019 F250 auto climate bezel. Changed the top 2 buttons, and it works just as well as the much more expensive F150 bezel I put on my other truck.

 

Does anyone here have a Lariat bezel avialable. I am looking for a HVAC control dashboard part from a 2015-2020 F150. It will be from a Lariat,
Limited, King Ranch, or Platinum. It must have dual AC, heated seats and a heated back window.
