Adding auto climate to XLT.
Quick update:
I unknowingly had them shipped to work, which I typically do because my delivery people are unreliable. This means I won’t get them until Monday. Just a slight delay on timing for the final development.
On another note, I rented a 2019 Mustang while I was out of town for work this past week and noticed that, when I’m in CarPlay or another non-climate screen, the temperature would temporarily show on the screen - like volume - when changed. It had Sync 3.3 software in it and I was wondering if anybody with an F150 XLT has seen this feature. I can confirm that it doesn’t appear on mine with 3.0 and I’m hoping there is an update out there or coming soon to fix it. I dislike having to leave CarPlay to look at what temperature I have it set to.

my XLT that shows temp is 3.4 sync
the 19 is 3.0
Thanks for the info. I must have not enabled everything in Forscan.

In April of '18 which was around the time I first installed SYNC 3, I had seen a Mustang with the cabin temp displayed in one corner... While trying to get that on my screen, @Livnitup gave me this code to try. It added the dual cabin temps in the corner of the screen, but as an added bonus it activated the large center display (like the volume shows) while you are adjusting the temp.

I'm sure you mentioned it before, and apologies for asking the question if already answered, but will one module allow heated seats to work on both driver's and passenger side or is there a separate module needed for either seat?
You are the man! I recently purchased a 2019 F150 XLT and just got a lariat bezel for it. Please put me down for one of your modules as well!!!!!

Update: I just got the proto PCBs today and will hopefully be able to populate the boards tomorrow barring more components being required to flash the bootloader via the socket programmer. If that’s the case, I will add all the other components except the micro to at least test everything but the code.
One board will work for both.

Latest update: I did have to order a couple components to get the socket programmer working and I can’t seem to find my solder paste, so the additional resources will be here on Friday. If I find my other tube of paste, I’ll get a jumpstart before Friday.
So how did you wire it in? I have a 2013 the fan speed control is a big wire, wire harness. Was there some type of relay control you had to add besides just the temp control? How did you get the fan to work/relocate that wire?
If you’re referring to the bezel swap, there was no wiring harness changes required. Just unplug the old and plug in the new. I can’t speak to the pre-2015 models, but the newer models were designed with the same wiring harnesses and the bezel PCBs contain some of the controls circuits. The rest of the controls are done via communications by the HVAC module located somewhere else in the dash, which I believe is where the power management/direct control of the HVAC system happens.
