Any updates? Have a bezel lined up but don’t want to get stuck with it if this falls through and heated seats aren’t figured out. Thanks!

even if not, many just swap bezels with the weather changes.... heated seats for winter, other bezel for summer...

Yeah I’m not a swap in swap out kind of guy. If I put it in it’s because it works the way I want it to.

I hear ya. I'm hoping this works as well. Not really wanting to swap either.

Would.be so.much easier if would interface with hsm same across both bezel options. Guessing 2 different mechanisms for heating seats.

Sorry for the late update guys. I'm overloaded with work right now trying to get issues taken care of before the holidays.

Update: I put most of the board together last Friday to test. I found out I used the 5x5 QFPN package size instead of the 4x4 for the CAN controller and I oversized the micro by one size also. I already fixed the first in the design and I'm planning to fix the second tonight. I can test the on-off functionality with what I have right now, but I'd have to get another set of boards done to test the full micro functionality and the CAN comms. I could order the mass quantity now, but I'd prefer not to take the chance the schematics are right and the two wrong-sized packages are wrong. I can't think of the last time I've been successful doing things that way personally or professionally. I'll see what my options are and let everybody know when I pick my next step.

Take your time and be sure it's right. Everyone has waited this long, a little bit longer is not a big deal. Better to take a little longer and be right, instead of rushing and not right. Everyone understands that you have other priorities in life, work, family, etc.

Agreed please don't take our being anxious for being impatient, at least for myself I am just happy that there is a possibility that this can work, I think I said it before but... Just don't forget me when you finally get everything together 😁

Can someone please share the part number for the bezel i would need to buy to complete this mod in a 2019 XLT with NO heated seats? Sounds like it should be plug and play for me since i dont have to deal with heated seats, and possibly a few FORSCAN tweaks?

I would like the part# also. Have heated seats but don't use them here in Fla. too often.

The one I bought is FL3T-18E245-ADC, but that is just referencing a 2015 model. I found this one from a 2017 that is labeled HL3T-18E245-ADC. My assumption would be the GL3T part number and the IL3T part numbers are the 2016 and 2018 parts, respectively.
