2016 Tracking Thread
I have had very good luck with Sync 3. The only thing that I haven't tried or got to work so far has been the apps. Every thing else works well. Pretty easy to set up and use. I have not had any voice commands that did not work yet.
Sync 3 is much faster with no lag when inputting addresses in Nav. It also has the "swipe" to move between screens feature typical of most smart phones. Apps can be accessed provided the phone is connected via cable. Initially it seems to be much better than the old MFT. I've had it two days now without a lot of time available to "play" but so far so good and I like it!
Ok. I don't want to start any arguments, but I would like some clarification. I went into the Dealership on Thursday and ordered my 2016 F-150 Lariat. I worked directly with the Sales Manager and watched as she entered every part and every screen of the order. Originally the "Preview Order" showed the Type as "Stock" with a Priority Code of 10. I was really happy with that. I went in on Saturday the get a "Vehicle Order Confirmation" and the Sales Manager stated that that was the "old system" and now all they "this dealership" use is the "Preview Order". She said some dealerships still use the old system because they don't want to change. So, she printed off another "Preview Order" which now shows the Type as "Retail" and the Priority Code as 01. Is this even possible? I did read on another forum someone said the Ford Zone Rep can assign a lower Priority Code. Is this true?
