Received and update from the dealership this morning on my '16 Platinum (ordered 9/25) with a copy of the Ford invoice. Truck was originally scheduled for build the week of Nov. 16th. however the build date has changed to Nov. 10th! Great news for me and possibly others if Ford is is moving up Dearborn build dates. A Tuesday build day works for me!

And the only "custom" part for 2016 is the body color front center fender section on the lariat sport if you have done any research....

My 2016 Order:
Ordered: 10/19/15
Received VIN: 10/30/15
Per Chad it's currently in production
Build (Born) Date: 11/10/15
ETA/Delivery: per Chad 12/2/15...hopefully.
Factory: Dearborn
COTUS: No info at all...doesn't pull anything up with VIN or order info.
ETIS: VIN works and shows the typical placeholder build date of: 30.11.0002
Trim: Platinum SCrew, 6.5' per specs in my signature.
I'm so ready for it to get here. Been waiting and watching for 3-4 years and finally was in position to get it. Hurry up December, lol.

I'm in the same boat as many others. Mine was built 10 days ago but is still in Dearborn. I checked my dealer and saw that one of their dealer ordered 2016s doesnt have a build date until 11/7 (the other dealer orders have been built already)....so I was thinking that they are waiting to ship my dealers trucks all at once. That's total speculation on my part though.

You guys are lucky, I ordered mine a 5 days after it opened up back in September and nothing shows. On etis, it has the placement date and shows Dearborn. I have been told it is scheduled for 11/16 from the dealer and Chad (a few days ago), but nothing shows on cotus or the window sticker site. The wait is killing me, but there are much worse things in life that could happen :-)
