2016 Tracking Thread
Can't wait to get this signed off tomorrow but please keep us posted on your truck and when it's delivered. I'm still watching anxiously for more deliveries.
These custom trucks are ones I have yet to see on a lot, including mine. This is why I ordered a '16.
I agree. It seems that everybody who had a build date of 10/26 has there trucks sitting there. Chad doesn't know why it is either. Just that it hasnt updated since it left the upfitters on 10/28. Dealer doesn't know anything either. ARGH!
..and before. Mine was 10/21. Still sitting there...
Whelp boys... wish my salesman/dealer luck. They are gonna hear from me tonight... and Im sending them HERE. They need to see that others are getting their trucks and that Ford isn't holding "everyone's" truck. After I told him that there were some '16 XLT's on the competitors lots he ACTUALLY said "Maybe Ford made them send them back". WTH. Anyways.... starting my email NOW. I appreciate everyone on here. I feel that without this group we would have paid too much, known to little and felt frustrated alone. Strength in numbers, right??!?!??!?

I'm sorry to be a d*ck about it, but the fact that Ford Service and Ford Marketing's standard line is "be sure you check with your dealer as they'll have the most up-to-date information on the status of your truck" is BS.
My dealer has NO IDEA what's going on with my truck. None. Zero. Zilch.
I've gotten the same run around that SP has from them. I don't think it is intentional, per se, I honestly believe they simply don't have a clue and either can't or won't reach out to someone at Ford to ask the obvious question, which is, "WTF is up with this customer's truck and why has it been sitting at the plant for almost a month?"
At the rate they seem to be turning these orders around, I almost feel like I'd get my truck quicker if I just cancelled the order and placed it again...
