Not sure it matters. I ordered in December still have no info with a priority 10.

That's nuts about the info and totally understandable as to why you are impatient. I am impatient and still have all of my other vehicles.

Have you talked with Chad at FordService?

Yes. I gave him my info yesterday but nothing yet. I like my Titanium Esacape but it is no F-150.

I checked a list of the top selling 100 Ford dealers. The dealer I ordered from was in the top 20 of that list for selling more trucks. At the time I was not aware of priority codes but was aware of dealer allocations. The more you sell the more that dealer gets to order tone sold.

I learned that lesson when I put a deposit down on a new 1997 Corvette at a great price only to wait about 4 months to find out that dealer only got two Corvettes for the model year which they had already sold. It then took another couple of months to get my $500.00 deposit back. Ended up buying my next two Corvettes out of state in 1998 and 2000 with high volume dealers.

Back to my truck order. I have a priority code of 10 on my summary sheet which I now understand is a good code to have. I will be checking with Chad later this week for any movement in my order. As of now only 10 days since placing my order I only know that my order is in the system waiting to be picked up.

The link regarding orders was very helpful in understanding how all this works.

Mine is priority 10 too. Ordered 11/23 and finally received a VIN just last Thursday (1/14). No window sticker, build date, etc., yet though. SO jealous of those of you getting yours built and delivered within that time!

I guess the next thing to worry about after you know your truck is actually built is "carrier/transporter damage". Would hate to wait for the truck then have to not accept the truck after it has been dealer repaired for carrier damage!

I'm in MN. If mine is done the week of the 25th also, I would think I will take delivery 2 weeks or so after that.

Mid February cant get here soon enough! Now watch it sit on a hold for 4-6 weeks after its built...
