Hello all. Ram owner here making the switch to Ford. Ordered a 2016 F150 King Ranch yesterday. Dealer said he processed the order yesterday, at least. No VIN or order number yet. I ordered the tri-coat platinum white, crew, 3.5 Eco, max tow package, technology package, adaptive cruise and parking assist, 3.55 elocker rear axle, spray-in bed liner, rear wheel well covers, tow mirrors, chrome package, FX4, 36 gallon fuel tank and 601a. Oh, and the kitchen sink to go with!

Looking forward to tracking this beauty. Lots of good info here. Look forward to being part of the forum.

King Ranch, Nice. Glad to see you made the switch and great choice. Can I ask what made you leave the dark side? Just wondering. Your truck is very similiar to mine except color and deployable running boards.

The wait is over. Mine is in!!!!! Came in yesterday, I pick it up tomorrow. Weather is supposed to be terrible, tons of rain and wind, oh well, the truck better get used to it because that's all it does here in the winter!!!

I've had several Rams. Love them. Just wanted something different and I like what Ford is offering. Not to worry...the wife still keeps a Ram in the garage! We're selling the fifth wheel, so the 3500 Ram I had was a bit much. Have not had a half-ton truck in 6 or 7 years. I thought it was time for something a bit more pleasant on the road!

Funny,

I am also coming from a Ram 2500 which has been a great truck but it rides hard! Time for a better ride and modern technology the Ford offers. The only thing that bothers me is a tale gate that might want to come open when I don't mean for it to.

I'm sure we'll figure out a work-around! Maybe duct tape the tailgate closed...it's the Arkansas hill-billy way!

That's great. I came from F350's to the 11 Lariat I have right now as I wanted something that was not so heavy and hard on the road. It took a little time to adjust to the F150 but I just love how they drive and ride compared to the 350. I hope you enjoy it, but it will be different. Now you will just have to convert your wife over!!!!
